PFC Services - Pipeline Cleaning
Pipeline Cleaning
Mainline Cleaning
- Clean, vacuum, and ream debris, roots, calcite, concrete, solidified asphalt, and protruding connections
- Clean pipe sizes from 150mm up to and over 2400mm diameter; culverts, outfalls and large diameter trunk sewers
- Vacuum from wastewater collection systems, leachate collection systems, lift stations, manholes and catch basins
- Vacuum excavate keyways for property line curb stops
- Hydraulic cleaning, flushing, flailing, reaming do not cause structural damage to the existing pipe

Small Diameter Cleaning
- High pressure clean small diameter pipelines from 100mm to 300mm
- Clean lateral piping prior to pipe rehabilitation
- Removes grease build-up, debris, roots, and calcite from vertical & horizontal piping to return pipe to its original diameter
Robotic Cutting
- Robotic unit remotely guided by CCTV monitoring permits precise removal of hard deposits; calcite, concrete, tree roots
- Defective off-set joints can be smoothed by robotic cutters
- Protruding laterals can be trimmed back flush with the interior of the existing pipe
- Exposed or protruding gaskets can be removed
- Used to complete pipe preparation for rehabilitation if identified that flails or reamers may damage existing pipe
- Reinstatement of lateral connections after mainline lining or spot repairs
- Robotic cutting procedure is non-disruptive and yields immediate restoration of pipe flow capacity
Confined Space Entry (CSE) Cleaning
- Site specific cleaning for inaccessible areas or high risk confined space entry environments; high capacity trunk sewers, live sanitary interceptors, industrial process piping systems
- Spray wall cleaning by means of a specialized designed wheeled carrier with extendable rotary jets that can be adjusted to suit various pipe diameters
- Man entry cleaning (CSE) with specialized pneumatic tools to remove hardened deposits from pipeline walls
