Repair longitudinal & circumferential cracks, fractures & small pipe holes with a permanent structural repair between two access points
-
Provides a seal within the pipe against infiltration and exfiltration
|
 |
CHEMICAL GROUTING AND SEALING
-
Filling of the annular space between the host pipe and the carrier pipe
-
Effective non structural, time proven process for stopping groundwater infiltration into mainline joints, service connections and manholes
-
Chemical grout is injected into leaking joints & circumferential defects from within pipe
-
Quick and inexpensive procedure that is not disruptive to the surrounding area or sewer system and requires no excavation
-
Lateral injection packers allow chemical grout to be injected at service connections, and through cracks and joints in up to 6 metres within the lateral line
-
Used for manhole joint sealing
|
 |
MAXLINER LATERAL SYSTEM
-
Used for the reconstruction of existing lateral sanitary sewer lines without excavation, by forming a new pipe within an existing deteriorated pipe, that has generally maintained its' original shape
-
Capable of short liner of 2m starting at the main sewer & extending to the full length of the service lateral beginning at the building main clean out 18m to 20m
-
Engineered for straight pipes, curved pipes or pipes with changing diameter
-
End result is a PVC smooth, continuous liner with no joints & seamless from end to end
|
 |
BEROLINA-LINER SYSTEM
-
Ultra-violet (UV) light cured in place pipe (CIPP) full length lining system
-
Used for the rehabilitation of gravity pipes with internal diameters 150mm to 1000mm and egg shaped pipe between 200x300mm (DN250equivalent) to 700x1050mm (DN900mm equivalent)
-
System comprises a glass reinforced woven sleeve that is impregnated with a UV cure polyester or vinylester resin to provide optimum reinforcement
-
High structural strength and performance
-
Quick set-up, installation and completion process
-
No requirement for process water
|
 |
PIPEBURSTING
-
Replaces a sewer by breaking & displacing the existing piping and installing a replacement pipe in the void created
-
System uses a pneumatic, hydraulic, or static bursting unit to split and break up the existing pipe, compressing the materials into the surrounding soil as it progresses
-
New replacement pipe is simultaneously pulled or pushed with the bursting head to fill the void created
-
Upsizing to about 30 percent greater than the original pipe diameter is possible
-
Maximum flow capacity of the existing pipe is maintained and can increase substantially with the insertion of a larger diameter pipe
-
Preferred solution for high profile areas; less surface disruption to surrounding business and the environment
|
 |
SLIPLINING
-
Insertion of flexible liners directly into the sewer; either continuous or jointed discrete lengths of pipe are pulled or pushed through the existing pipe
-
Requires excavation of an insertion pit where the slipliner is inserted into the existing pipe
-
Creates a new pipe inside the old sewer without a complete excavation; sliplined pipe is then reconnected to the existing sewer at both ends
-
PVC and HDPE (high density polyethylene) pipe are primarily used; best for pipes ranging from 200mm to 2400mm diameter
-
Higher production rates, minimal disturbance to other utilities, reduced level of site restoration
|
 |
Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
- Effective technique for the installation of pipelines and other utilities in sensitive or congested areas
- Achieved by utilizing a hydraulic operated drilling machine and a guidance device allowing the operator to control the drill head direction
- Benefit of this method is that it does not require a host pipe as a conduit from both access points; eliminating the need for open cut trenching and shut down of production lines
- Fast, low cost and low impact on the environment

|
| |
PIPELINE TESTING |
 |
LOW PRESSURE AIR TESTING

|
 |
MANDREL TESTING
-

-
Mandrel is a ball plug-shaped object that is passed through a pipeline to ensure that the minimum acceptable diameter is maintained throughout
|
 |
REROUNDING
-
Process that involves the insertion of an expansion device into a distorted pipe to return it to a circular cross section
-
